Casing made from 2 pieces of 11/16" x 1 3/8" Western Red Cedar to form a 1 3/8" x 1 3/8" casing for good structural integrity.

Louvers are set at a 45 degree angle so that the bottom edge of one louver meets the top edge of the next and is inset 7/16th inch to prevent rain blowing in.
Louver spacing is 5/8th inch offering good air passage through the vent.
