Ordering

You can use any of the following methods to order from us:
Online. Order directly on the site using our Secure Checkout.
We use a Secure Certified Shopping Cart on our site and accept VISA and MasterCard directly we also offer paying through PayPal where you can use your PayPal account or your Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover).
By Phone. Call Toll Free 1 877 422-0242. Have your personal information at hand, credit card and shipping address. When ordering by phone we can accept either VISA or Mastercard.
By Mail. As part of our checkout process select "Printable Order Form (Postal Mail)" click on Checkout and an Order Form will be displayed for you to print.
Enclose a check or request an electronic invoice, sign the form and mail it to us.
If paying by check we will not ship until your check clears.
All Pricing on CedarAtticVents is in US Dollars.

The Charge on your Credit Card for online orders will be to "WINNTEC CDA",  "WINNTEC VENTURES CA" or CEDARAIRVENTS.
Shipping

We offer
Shipping Direct to Your Door straight off the site if the destination is within the Continental USA (contiguous 48 states) and Canada.
Pricing on this site for all destinations is quoted in US Dollars and Exclusive of Shipping costs which are calculated separately at time of checkout using dimensional weight.
Shipping origin is Mission, British Columbia.

Shipping Options:
Default shipping is via UPS Canada Standard Ground we also offer the following options:
1. UPS Canada Standard Ground 6-10 business days across North America
2. UPS Worldwide Expedited 4 days (ie ship Monday delivered Thursday by end of day - most locations)
3. UPS Worldwide Express 2.5 days (ie ship Monday delivered Wednesday midday - most locations)
4. UPS Saver 3 days (ie ship Monday delivered Wednesday by end of day - most locations)
Business days are Monday to Friday and do not include weekends or statuatory holidays.
You can check the rates and select the method you want during the checkout process

Please note all Custom Orders including Inserts require build time - they are not off the shelf. We quote 5-10 business days but this is frequently faster. All Triangles are custom built.

Custom Quotations.
All Custom build timeframes, Shipping times and cost estimates are based on the best information available at the time, cost estimates that exceed those quoted by more than $5.00 will be referred back to the customer before the order is placed. We cannot be held responsible for Extended freight shipping times but will do our best to work with the freight carrier for resolution. Note that Insert Boxes are Custom made.

Continental USA.
If you live in the Continental USA no import duties apply as these products are all made from Canadian raw materials in Canada and qualify under NAFTA as duty free.
However brokerage fees may apply.
Note: We are currently absorbing this cost.

Hawaii & Alaska.
Please Email for a quote for shipping prior to placing your order with details of the products you're interested in and the ship to address. Unfortunately there will be additional ship fees.

Canada.
If you live in Canada you have to pay the tax man GST/HST as required - sorry nothing we can do about it!

Europe/International.
The products we sell have been shipped worldwide but additional shipping fees will apply so we do not offer direct ordering off the site at this time. Please Email us with the products you're interested in also the ship to address and we'll get a quotation to you. Ship times will vary, approximately 8-12 weeks by Ground for Europe, a few days by Air but the cost will, of course, be much greater.

Guarantee.
All our stock Surface Mount products are guaranteed free of defects in materials and workmanship in the item itself.
We cannot be liable for any problems with installation such as wood splitting without pre-drilling or any modifications to the shape of an item or shutter/vent painting or staining that didn't work out right.
To prevent "fit" problems with Custom items such as Insert Boxes, Triangular and Pitch Vents we urge you, before ordering, to measure 3 times before we cut once! Please follow our Guide on how to calculate the pitch you need and measure very carefully. We can only accept vents back under our guarantee if we messed up when we made them and we failed to meet your measurements and not if your measurements failed to meet the requirements of your house!
Returns
If you wish to return a product we will refund the cost of the product only. You will have to pay the cost of freight in both directions.







Shipping Damage.
All our products are packed securely however in the event of shipping damage please follow these instructions.
There is only a 24 hour window after delivery to file insurance claims with the delivery company.
We cannot be liable for any damage not reported within that timeframe. If possible photograph any damage and email to us as supporting evidence immediately.

In order to receive a full refund the return must arrive back in Perfect Condition. Any damage will be reviewed and if it can be repaired costs to do this will be charged against the refund.
You must action the return (i.e: it's in transit) within 10 Business Days
Call or email Before returning the product to get a Return Authorization number and to get instructions on how and where to return the product.
 
 
 
 
 
1. If there is any damage to the packaging when the item arrives, please open the item before the driver leaves to inspect it for damage.
NOTE that the packaging was damaged on the Way Bill BEFORE you sign for it and have the driver sign as well, and then Email or Call us IMMEDIATELY.
This is very important in the claim process if the item turns out to be damaged inside due to shipping and since courier companies have a strict time limit after which a claim cannot be made.
2. If the packaging looks fine, you've accepted it, or the driver has left it without signature, but once opened there is damage, again, contact us IMMEDIATELY and keep all packing materials and package contents.
